Cline Names Senior Housing Director
Industry Veteran to Guide and Expand the Firm’s Senior Living Practice
Raleigh, North Carolina (Sept. 15, 2026) — Cline is proud to announce David Coster to the position of Senior Housing Sector Director, a newly created leadership role focused on advancing the firm’s presence and development in the senior living sector.
As Senior Housing Sector Director, Coster will lead efforts to expand the firm’s senior living capabilities and market presence across the U.S. Coster will shape and execute Cline’s senior living growth strategy, working closely with firm leadership to identify new opportunities, strengthen and expand client partnerships, and drive continued growth in Cline’s architecture, planning, and interior design services across senior housing multifamily development.

A 30-year veteran of the healthcare, financial services, and real estate industries, Coster brings wide-ranging experience in senior living development, operations, mortgage lending, and media. Prior to joining Cline, Coster spent 12 years with Retirement Living Associates, most recently serving as Vice President Development. In that role, he oversaw the development of new senior care communities, with responsibilities spanning project financing, marketing, vendor management, and community and government relations.
Earlier in his career, Coster served in leadership roles within North Carolina state government, and in the financial services industry including as Chief Consumer Analyst at Mortgage Loan Directory and Information, Inc.; National Education Consultant at Agis Network; and Vice President Business Development at American Home Mortgage/American Brokers Conduit. “I came to Cline because the senior housing and services sector must grow at scale to meet surging demand across all socio-demographic lines, and Cline has the breadth of experience and the will to meet the challenge,” says David Coster, Senior Housing Sector Director, Cline.
