With More Than 25 Years Of Planning And Design Experience, Nobleza Joins Cline To Strengthen Client Partnerships and Advance Community-Focused Projects

RALEIGH, NC, February 26, 2026 –  Cline, a visionary architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, land planning, and branding firm, continues its expansion beyond North Carolina, strengthening its DC Metro Area presence with the addition of Melody Nobleza as Market Leader, DC Metro Area. This move is part of Cline’s broader growth trajectory, following the firm’s Texas expansion announced last month with the acquisition of Mark Odom Studio in Austin.

In this role, Nobleza will support the continued growth of Cline’s planning and design practice throughout the region. Based in the DC Metro Area, Nobleza will work closely with clients on planning and design projects across the region while helping grow Cline’s local presence with a focus on building strong relationships and delivering practical, creative solutions that support successful, community-focused development. Recent Cline projects in the DMV include Metro Walk, a multifamily development located in Ashburn, VA.

“We are excited to welcome Melody back to Cline and to continue growing our presence in the DC Metro Area. Her depth of experience, leadership, and commitment to community-focused design make her a strong fit for our team and our clients,” says Michael Mesnard, Cline CEO & President. “Melody understands how to bring people, places, and purpose together, and she will play a key role in strengthening relationships with our clients and expanding our work across the region.”

Nobleza brings over 25 years of experience in planning and design, with work spanning mixed-use, multifamily residential, urban infill, affordable housing, and single-family communities. With a foundation in architecture, she brings a thoughtful, holistic perspective to every project, blending technical expertise with a strong understanding of how people experience and move through spaces.

Nobleza rejoins Cline, where she once served as a Senior Designer in the firm’s Raleigh office. Most recently, she served as Associate Principal at Lessard Design, Tysons Corner, VA and prior to that, was a Senior Associate at Ci Design, Arlington, VA. Nobleza previously spent 13 years with KTGY in the DC Metro Area, where she was Design Director. Her longstanding career is shaped by a passion for creating connected, livable communities, guiding projects from early pre-planning and programming through conceptual, schematic, and design development phases, with a focus on collaboration, clear communication, and aligning design solutions with both client and community goals.

“I’m excited to be back with Cline because of its collaborative culture and commitment to thoughtful, high-quality design. I look forward to helping drive growth and strengthening Cline’s presence in the DC Metro Area,” said Nobleza.
