Main Street at Enka Village

This intended mixed-use project features an assembly of retail, office, housing, and dining in a village-like atmosphere. The buildings were designed to create a pedestrian friendly environment by breaking down the building masses to human-scale. Main Street at Enka Village was foreseen to be a vibrant, walk-able, mixed-use community that served the residents, as well as become a main destination for the surrounding neighborhoods. The vision incorporated the need for modern amenities and services and sought to embody the influence of the “Asheville vernacular.”
