Chapel Hill Country Club

Cline Design provided planning and architectural services for the new 22,000 sq. ft. structure, located on the site of the former demolished clubhouse. In keeping with the established surrounding residential neighborhood, the design utilizes a Southern Cottage Vernacular style of architecture. Stone and clapboard siding are the predominant exterior materials, along with divided-lite windows and traditional round columns as porch roof supports.

The goal for the project was to provide exterior usable spaces which seamlessly flow to the major interior spaces. This was accomplished by providing a golf pavilion that integrates with the existing golf plaza, along with a screened porch that adjoins the main dining room. An outdoor patio was also designed to overlook the practice putting green.
