This “gateway” to Wrightsville Beach and the City of Wilmington is one of the last undeveloped contiguous 200+ acre single ownership pieces of property within the City of Wilmington. Cline Design worked with the Owner to provide an overall Master Plan and secure Mixed Use zoning for the property. Dispersed throughout the project are 51 acres designated as “Open Space”. Residential components along with this Open Space are located along the Western, Southern and Eastern boundary lines where the property abuts existing single family neighborhoods. Higher intensity land uses are located internally to the property. The design includes tree lined streets with continuous sidewalks and a variety of single family lot sizes with a diversity of housing types, hotel, retail and office, affording the residents access to goods and services without necessitating travel on external roadways.
