New Talent Joins the Cline Design Team

As Cline Design continues to welcome new projects and new clients, they’ve also hired many new talented designers, architects, project managers and interns during these last several months.

“We’re excited to welcome so many new faces with such diverse backgrounds.” stated Gary Cline, president and managing principal of Cline Design. “It is the diversity and level of talent that helps us grow and challenges us to do better for our clients, to exceed their expectations. I’m excited to see our teams continue to evolve and provide the highest level of design in all of the market sectors we serve.”

The new team members come from as far West as California as well as have a wide range of experience bringing as much as 24 years experience to the practice. Since March, they’ve introduced the following new team members.

ABIGAIL KENNEDY

Interior Designer, Senior Project Manager | Raleigh Office

Abigail is a native Midwesterner recently living in Sacramento, California before joining the Cline Design team in Raleigh. With over 14 years experience in architecture and design, she has an extensive background in numerous project types including medical office buildings, corporate buildings and more.


MELODY NOBLEZA

Project Designer | Raleigh Office

Originally from the Washington, DC area, Melody joins Cline Design’s Raleigh office with over 24 years of experience as a design leader for international mixed-use, multifamily residential, urban-infill and single family projects.


LIMMI POWELL

Interior Designer | Charlotte Office

Limmi rejoins Cline Design after serving as an Interior Design intern in the Charlotte office last year. She has a B.S. in Architectural Engineering and a B.A. in Interior Architecture which she recently received from UNC-Greensboro.


CHAD SCHRENKER

Project Manager | Charlotte Office

Chad is the newest Project Manager in Cline Design’s Charlotte office. He recently moved from New York City to join the team but is no strange to Charlotte thanks to his time at UNC-Charlotte where he received his Architecture degree.


JON OBERHEIM

Designer | Raleigh Office

New to the Raleigh area, Jon moved from Palm Beach, Florida where he worked at David Lawrence Architecture as an Architectural Associate. He graduated from Judson University in Elgin, Illinois with a B.A. and Masters in Architecture and joins the Cline Design Raleigh office as one of their newest designers.


KATHRYN BRIGGS

Designer | Raleigh Office

Kathryn joins Cline Design’s Raleigh office with over 5 years experience in both interiors and architecture. She soaked up design during her studies in Denmark and enjoyed living in Houston, Texas after graduating from Virginia Tech.


MADI CANNON

Interior Designer  |  Raleigh Office

A Fayetteville native, Madi is extremely happy to be back to her North Carolina roots after recently living and working in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She attended Savannah College of Art and Design where she lived on the “Forrest Gump” Square her last two years of college.


CHANCE WILLIAMS

Designer  |  Charlotte Office

Chance is one of the newest designers to join the Charlotte team. He recently received his Masters in Architecture from the University of Oklahoma in May.


ELLIS HUDSON

Interior Design Intern | Raleigh Office

Ellis is a student at Meredith College graduating this December. Though a North Carolina native, she’s had the opportunity to live in Georgia and Venezuela.  Ellis joins the Raleigh office as an intern with the Interiors Group.


ROBIN CORNEL

Designer Intern  |  Raleigh Office

A Raleigh native, Robin recently graduated from Georgia Tech with her Civil Engineering degree and is going back in the fall to start her Masters in Architecture and Civil Engineering.


JONATHAN ARNALL

Summer Intern  |  Charlotte Office

A Virginia Tech student, Jonathan joins the Charlotte office of Cline Design for the summer.


MIRANDA DECHANT

Interior Design Intern  |  Charlotte Office

Originally from Denver, Colorado, Miranda is currently a Queens University of Charlotte student and interning in the Interiors Department at the Charlotte office.
