    Michael developed an interest in the design of space and the outdoors as a boy. He enjoyed the outdoors and looking at road patterns and community neighborhoods to gain an an understanding of how they worked and what might make them better. Michael explored his interest in college and graduated with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Ball State University.

    As a Senior Principal and Director of Planning for the firm, Michael is motivated by his desire to create quality site and community designs. He enjoys working closely with clients and as part of a team to seek effective solutions to each unique design challenge. Michael is an active member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, and serves on the judges committee.
